In 1982, we developed fiber glass hoses for the first time in Korea, followed by development of silver foil hoses and Tarpaulin hoses. Thus, we have played a role of a pioneer in the area of flexible duct industry. In 1985, we introduced three advanced hose machines from Germany and constructed a hardware platform to develop air-conditioning hoses. Based on these experiences, we have now accomplished excellent achievements by re-exporting hose automation machines developed by our researchers to China, Iran, Vietnam, Poland, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, thailand, and UAE.

In 2000, we introduced the manufacture lines of Spiral-Helix of Switzerland and Spiro of the United States to produce spiral duct products. Recently, we introduced a laser cutting machine to continuously research and develop for customer management through thorough quality control and follow-up management.

In 2007, we established a subsidiary named Daehan Chemical Co., Ltd. and constructed adhesion facility lines and coating facility lines in order for infinite research and development to take place. Not only air-conditioning materials, but also AL FOIL TAPE, high-efficiency insulating materials, heating films and other industrial construction materials and products are being manufactured for delivery of the best products to our customers who mostly cover a wide range of industries.

In 2017, in order to strengthen competitiveness of our manufacture sites, we began to introduce smart plants. The first stage was related to the process management system while the second stage has been in development for automated manufacture. Currently, the air-conditioning hose band production line consists of the most advanced automation robot, which makes us recognized as a successful smart plant owner.

In 2015, we built a factory in Vietnam for marketing in Southern Asia and established a production plant in Uzbekistan in 2019 to enter into the northern and the central Asian countries. This has greatly promoted the status of our country. Our proud overseas employees are doing their best at the moment on each of their production site.

As of December 2020, the employees and executives of DAEHAN Flexible Duct Hose Co., Ltd., recognized by its own country as the 1171st root technology professional, will do their best to spread the greatness of Korea in Northern, Central and Southern Asian countries beyond the Republic of Korea.
